As a second-generation landscape architect and Pacific Northwest native, Moghan Lyon’s connection to thoughtful design began in childhood, learning the foundations of design and landscape architecture alongside his father in all weather conditions. His unique combination of landscape architecture expertise from the University of Washington and business acumen from the University of San Diego reflects Lyon’s commitment to balancing creative vision with practical value.

Moghan’s experience spans the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West, where he’s developed lasting partnerships with clients across municipal and residential projects. His leadership of the Sun Valley, Idaho office demonstrated his ability to maintain strong client relationships across regions while delivering designs that harmonize with diverse environments. As a partner at Lyon Landscape Architects, he carries forward the firm’s legacy of principle-driven design, creating enduring outdoor spaces that serve both clients and communities.

Outside of the office, Moghan finds inspiration in active outdoor pursuits that inform his understanding of how people interact with natural spaces. His passion for mountain biking, soccer, and family time reflects the same commitment to connection and harmony that defines his professional work.
