DETAILS:
As part of a project to demolish obsolete buildings and replace with gathering and event spaces, the project required designing around steep slopes and stunning views of the water and mountains.
An amphitheater with multiple gathering levels was designed with ADA accessibility and opportunity for a shade structure oriented toward the amazing views of Sinclair Inlet.
The space is now the main gathering place for campus events and other outdoor activities.
