New Design/Build project in Thurston County provided a central garden space for residents to escape to a place of solitude. Low-maintenance seasonal plantings, along with a native plant palette creates a comfortable and soothing garden space. LLA custom designed a steel arbor structure with stone that ties the garden space to the surrounding architecture along with a small water feature that filters the surrounding vehicle noise. The project utilizes a perimeter Rain Garden to capture runoff from the surrounding access roads.
